The Nursery and Tearooms are open all year round ( closed xmas ) on Mon to Fri 9 till 5 and Sundays 10 till 5.

There is a separate admission charge of £2.00 for the garden, but children are free when accompanied by a full paid adult.

They can wander the gardens and complete a fun "spot and find" sheet to win a free lucky dip.
NB Parents please be aware there is open water in the Show Gardens

We can offer children's birthday parties with a full party tea, pass-the-parcel, party bags to take home and a treasure hunt in the garden. £7 per child (maximum of 25 children). We can also supply a birthday cake (extra charge) or you can bring your own.
We also welcome educational trips from schools.

Within the gardens they can 'meet' The Greenman, the rusted knight of old, see Excalibur in its stone then wander through the 'fairy glen to find the new 'hobbit holes'.

They can enter the Cave with its swirling mist to find the witches cauldron, then run around the turf labyrinth and make their wish before the family settle down to a refreshing 'cuppa' in our beautiful tea room, with its own dedicated children's area and blackboard for them to scribble away on, even drawing pictures of what they have seen in the garden.

Maybe take your Teas in through the castle entrance into the adventure playground with the pets corner and living willow tunnel, where the children can use up that last bit of energy before the drive home.

NB Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
